Why Can't We Grow Up?

We constantly say that we're more equal these days...that race is no longer as big an issue as it was back in the past. Unfortunately that is not the case. Even now, with an African-American President in office we still use the excuse of race to either better or destroy other's views of one man's goals.
It shouldn't matter if the President is White, Black, Native American, or even a Martian. All that should matter is what he does for our country.
